Data Protection Policy
Introduction
At the International Association for Jungian Coaches (IAJCC), we prioritise your privacy and are dedicated to handling your personal information responsibly.
As an association publicly registered with the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office, sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology, the International Association for Jungian Coaches and Consultants (IAJCC) is fully compliant with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU GDPR.
The ICO is an independent public body, and the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology (DSIT) is the ICO’s sponsoring department within the Government. Our sponsoring department changed from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport to DSIT in February 2023.
The ICO has published a Working Level Agreement between DCMS and ICO on the approach to intervention in, and consultation on, Court of Justice of the European Union cases.
About EU GDPR
On 28 June 2021, the EU approved adequacy decisions for the EU GDPR and the Law Enforcement Directive (LED). This means data can continue to flow as it did before, in the majority of circumstances.
Both decisions are expected to last until 27 June 2025.
The General Data Protection Regulation has been kept in UK law as the UK GDPR.
This guidance is aimed at UK businesses that receive data from or have offices in the EU and European Economic Area (EEA). It gives a basic overview of the changes to data protection since the UK left the EU and now has an approved adequacy decision.
