Jungian Coaches and Consultants
HOME OF JUNGIAN COACHING
Jungian Coaching emerged as a response to the critical evolutionary demands for survival and adaptation facing individuals and organisations in the early part of this century.
The challenges are now real and present.
Our perception, decision-making, and behaviour are not well served by conventional and automatic methods. As a matter of fact, they frequently cause ourselves and our organisations great harm. For some time now, we have been aware of the peculiarities in individual and collective human behaviour that have resulted in technological, financial, and human disasters. We might now understand psychological terms such as ‘cognitive bias’, and psychiatric terms such as ‘illusion of control’ and ‘delusional fantasies’. Since the pioneering 1990s, and in response to evolutionary demands we might even have developed serious, scientific applications of Jung’s work into coaching and consulting domains.
Founded by and served by Jungian analysts and Corporate executive change professionals, the IAJCC is now your professional body, your organisation.
In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.
Carl Gustav Jung
At the top, leaders frequently feel alone. Groups frequently become lost in recurring unhealthy patterns. Mistakes happen again. Jungian Coaching provides a safe and confidential space with a highly experienced, clinically trained professional, conversant with your industry, in which harmonious and natural development can take place so that perception, decisions, and actions flow in accordance with the deepest knowledge sourced from the wellspring of the soul. It is a process of constant renewal which reanimates individuals, relationships, and organisations.
In other words, evolutionary adaptation, survival, and well-being.
Following the establishment of the scientific framework for Jungian coaching and consulting in 2021, the IAJCC was formed as a non-profit professional members’ organisation to safeguard the profession by providing definitions of terms, professional standards of practice, a supervision framework, and a forum for research and development.
Coaching is currently an unregulated profession. Our members are highly qualified, professionally trained, and experienced practitioners who are committed to voluntary regulation and have met rigorous criteria for admission to associate or full membership of the IAJCC.
Each member, whether individual or organisational, signs a commitment to uphold the ethics, standards of practice, and regulations of the IAJCC. These include:
- The paramountcy principle makes the well-being and personal/professional success of the client (individual and/or organisation) the primary focus and concern.
- The responsibility of the coach/consultant for supervision, lifelong development, and fitness to practice.
These principles are enshrined in the conditions of indemnity insurance.
